Marah to Elim --- Disappointments in life

Life is full of disappointments but often disappointments are also followed by fullness of joy and successes.

Often, we will be disappointed most by people ard our lives, and this is the number 1 disppointment that usually hurt us badly. God has equipped us with the ability to handle disappointments that we encounter and in fact disappointments is where our characters revealed and being tested.

When we face disappointments in life what shall we do?
1. Don't Nurse it
Nursing disappointments and hurts will only make us miserable. in fact, we should just forgive and forget

2. Don't Rehearse it
Rehearsing your disappointments and hurts will only hold you back to the past and not move on. Let go and let God, God is a our comfort and healer

3. Let God reverse it
Lift our problems and situations to God. God is a god of reverse. He will reverse whatever bad situations you are in and turn it around for the better. He is the master of turnaround

Marah --- a place where bitterness and disappointments surround
Elim --- a place of sweetness and victory

So how do we move from Marah to Elim?
The solution is always there for us when we faces disappointments in life. But we are often too overwhelm by the problem that we do not see the solution/answer. We often throw a pity party for ourselves. We must learn to stop the pity party and move on, keep moving on and forward. Just remember that the solution is always there, it's just we are preventing ourselves from seeing it.

Well, that's all I can recall from last night cg message. I think this is a good message as it indeed applys to all of us in our everyday life. For myself personally, I have benefitted from it a huge lot as I guess for the past few weeks, i have enough disappointments to handle and i am glad that God is indeed the solution for all. Providing comfort and strength.
