updates from the past week

had a very busy week and that's becoz boss was not around. she's back this week but seems like it's going to be the same... when can i take a break? I find myself not someone who can work everyday without having a break once in a while. My energy is short span... till end Jan 07 i have 7 days of leave remaining. any suggestions how to spend it? there's really nothing much to blog about work becoz i have been so biz that i simply dunno what and where to start telling. but the weekend was good. in fact a good time of rest and at the same time things that need to be done was done. a fulfilling weekend.

on sat, we went safra yishun to check out the place and on the wedding packages. we like the place, wouldn't say love it but we felt that it's reasonable enough to have a fun wedding there. place is good, especially for my relatives where the whole lot from my mom's side is coming from malaysia. price is very very reasonable and we heard that the food is good too. perhaps 1 day we will go and try it out. so kind of decided on the place and dear gonna's email the person to reserve the function/ballroom for our big day. the only thing abt safra is, we got to book our own hotel as the wedding package does not come with it. we figure that it will still be cheaper than to have a dinner at the hotel and paying a few hundreds more per table juz for the service and ultimately the room stay. still deciding on the hotel... maybe spurge and give ourselves a good treat to Ritz Carlton. :) After safra yishun, we made our way to amk to eat western food from the famous Botak Jones. The food is really fantastic! Well, Merf if you happen to be reading this, you simply love the food coz there's alot of cheese.... price is very very reasonable and the portion is huge i will say. Met alice and charlie there, together with their baby Gabrielle. Finish off our breakfast/lunch/dinner and made our way home.

Rested for a while and went to airport to send our dear friend Lewis off to Holland. Felt a sense of loss on our way home. As we grow older, friends begin to leave and pursue a better future. These usually means moving out of Singapore. Lewis gonna back to holland for a 4 years of studies and God knows only when we will ever meet again. He has plans to stay there for good since he's a citizen there. We are so goin to miss him.

Sunday was a "hectic" day. Man! we overslept and woke up only at 8.30am!!! The time where we should be on the bus to expo for service. Quickly prepare ourselves and took a cab to expo, made in juz in time for service at 10am sharp. After service, went pasir ris for dear's family bbq chalet. It was fun and i learnt cycling for an hour +++, sad to say i didn't manage to cycle on my own still. Well, I am determine to learn and master it. By end of year, I want to be able to cycle on my own. Haha. Had bbq in the evening and a good time of fellowship with his family. Though i was very tired at the end of the day but i felt fulfilling and happy. Dear said no time was more enjoying than having me around during his family get together. *so sweet*

It's back to work today and right now I am falling asleep... hope 5.30pm will come very very soon...
