Finally we have confirmed our dinner venue and it seems like the parents have no objection. Good, at least we are moving ahead with the preparation. Time seems to be moving so fast now that it is very scary. So many things we need to do and the list just goes on and on and on. I am praying that everything will just falls in place with no hiccups. As exciting as it is, it is also a high stress preparation. There are times where we will just blow up at each other and end on a bad note on the conversation. Thank God that we were taught to "settle the scores" before the sun sets on us. I do wonder why couples argue alot when it comes to preparation of the big M. I mean it's a great big step towards another phrase of life and this is what we want, so why are we arguing? It dawns on me that most of the arguements arise not because of what we want or what we do not want. Arguements 90% usually revolves around parents and elders in the family. I want to take consideration and respect decision of my parents and as much, he wants to take consideration and respect decision of his parents. And when things doesn't move in our own line of thoughts, we argued it out. Haiz... this is such a big headache. No wonder friends and couples have been advicing us to take things easy and that the wedding is about us and not the parents. How true is that? Anyway, we take things as it come... we believe that relaxing our minds is the best thing to do when the stress level steps in, and this is a way to prevent any arguement.

So what's left on the list?

1. Selecting and buying a nice house, which will follow by reno
2. Confirm booking of chinese church hall and equipments
3. Filing notice of marriage (3 months before the big day)
4. Confirm the list of helpers
5. Plan honeymoon
6. Purchase all the necessary things, e.g favours, gifts for parents etc etc

I dunno what else should go on the list... it seems like little but it also seems alot. I am sure we miss out some details, be it big or small. So all you kind souls out there, please let us know if we have miss out any items alright? Thanks!!!
