Happy Week - part 1

Guess what everyone... we have collected the keys to our new house!!! Fast isn't it? We are officially what most pple say asset rich but cash poor. Nonetheless, we are very satisfied with where we are today. Finally we have a place where we can call our very own house and home. We also have our reno more or less confirmed. This is really getting exciting for us, which also means busier.

Met up with our group of VIP on thurs night to discuss details of the big day. I must say that we have a group of very very good friends who stand by us whenever we need help. Dede was especially pleased and impressed by wedding coordinator ---> Mr Yee. Knew that we didn't make a wrong choice in making him our WC. A fruitful time and most of the logistics are more or less settled, only left a few items on the list for us to confirm. Hopefully we will be able to get everything down by end of Jul.

Fri was spent much more fruitful. We took a day leave from work to go HDB and there flies our $26000+++ but in return a flat. We signed a total of 7 sets of documents and each doc has on avg 7 pages. Not to mention that before these 7 sets of doc, we have already signed a few. This was the 1st time in my life that we put down our signatures on that many pcs of paper. After that we can feel our hands weakened. Haha. Gotten house insurance and opened utilities and electricity account as well. On Monday we will have electricity at our place le. After that went to lunch with my parents at AMK Hub. Dad wanted to go our new house to pray... some Chinese customs i think. But since we are Christians, dad said we do not need to be there and I also dun wish to get involved as well. So passed him a set of keys and there off we went to J&M for trial makeup and selection of gowns and suits for photoshoot. We were early, in fact extremely early that we actually walked from Raffles Place to Tanjong Pagar and in between an almost 40mins rest at Amara Hotel and yet still arrive at J&M at 4pm where the scheduled was 4.30pm.
Not too sure if it's a blessing in disguise or what, Elson's previous client wasn't feeling well after shooting for 2 gowns and went off early. So he was available earlier for me. Initially i was praying real hard to God saying that I will like to have Elson as my official makeup artist instead of Chris. Not that Chris is not good but it's a preference, also being that Elson is my designer as well. So there I was at the mercy of his hands, doing my trial makeup. This guy works wonders I tell you. He has transformed me from a plain jane to a beautiful princess in juz less that 45mins. And the gowns that he made for me was just simply beautiful. That's the only word that I can use and think of. He made me feel like a princess. The happy thing for me was, my gowns was loose and it's actually at least 2inches looser as compared to last month!!! Which means I have lost weight!!! Yeah!!! Elson and Chris were so excited that they kept claiming that it's ok and they dun mind altering the gowns for me. And Elson said maybe they can have a Miss J&M contest. LOL! What a joke! But nonetheless, yes i was very very happy with the whole fitting and make up. And oh those accessories that I brought, fits in perfectly with the gowns so ta-da no wasting of money.

Ok, i have to go and bath now. Dede waiting for me to get out of the house. I shall continue tonight when I get home.
