Fruitful Shopping & Happy weekend

I have a shopping-full weekend last week and I was smiling and grinning from ear to ear. It's has been a long long while since i really shop so much. Sat afternoon, went to meet dear at paya lebar for lunch. Had our favourite bian mian dry and roti prata, missed out the duck rice. However i feel that the standard of the roti prata dropped big time that day. Maybe it's because the previous night i had the fantastic ones from Prata House and thus comparing both. LOL.
After lunch, we went to Sing Post center to look around for furniture at Barang Barang. It was fruitful as we finally found the ideal sofa for our house and not forgetting the dining table set. Except for the dining chairs, which cost us almost as much as the table, we gotten the rest at a discounts of between 30 - 45% and that's a very very good deal especially when we are getting from Barang Barang. Dear tot of getting cutleries there as well, but the salesperson mentioned that if we can wait then perhaps will want to hang on till nearing xmas season where they are having the annual sale. That got us thinking... so we shall see how it goes. We will be going down tml to pay for everything and get it deliver in sept. Pretty excited as we got almost all the big things for the house now.

After Barang Barang, since time still permits (we are suppose to attend service so sun can be full rest day) we popped into the huge, and in my opinion the largest This Fashion outlet. Once entered, lo and behold, i was captured by all the clothes and dresses and everything else. Dear decided to "reward" me by saying that we shall shopped and attend sun svc instead. Wah so happy! I popped in and out of the changing room so many times i think the auntie probably knows me by now. In the end, we bought so many things that i instantly become a member and have 30% discount off all items instead of the at that point 20% storewide. Dear also bought 2 tops. Never knew that we can spend at This Fashion as well. Hee... the bill comes up to $80+ after discount, so imagine the original before discount. The clothes are alright, i will say cheap and not too bad, not super worth for money but reasonable. TF used to be so much cheaper but guess with all the competition, it has raise it's pricing and for the quality of clothes it's quite alright. Of coz you can't compare them with like Mango or Zara clothes during sales period. Oh I also bought 2 pairs of shoes and 1 bag outside TF at those stores and each item only cost me $6!!! It's a steal I will say. So happy. Since I was already in the mood, i wanted to shop some more. Both of us headed to Bugis but came home empty-handed with a full tummy of pasta from Sketches cafe. Nice pasta though.

Sun we went for svc as usual and after that spent some time with a few of the cg members at tampines for lunch. After that, my 2nd round of shopping starts at Marina Square. From Dorothy Perkins - Topshop - Miss Selfridge - Fox, a wing-tai org retail day. Ended the day with a good dinner with my parents back in yishun. Dear didn't join me for dinner as he went over to his grandparents' place. All in all, i really have a very very good and enjoyable time. It's been a long long while since i shopped to contentment. in order to make this possible, I have to give thanks to a few persons who has made it possible for me. Without them, I will still be feeling deprived of the shopping itch. So here goes...

3. Mom & Dad - for blessing me finanically for the shopping weekend. Dun worry, i have spent wisely and still have more than half of the money left. :) Thanks for loving me and doting me as the baobei of the family. Muacks!

Oh woah, after the long long entry, i have forgotten to write abt the night supper outing with ah dine and ah liang on Friday night @ Thomson!!! Nvm, I shall write on a separate entry delicate to just the 2 of them. Hee :)
