I nearly burn my house this morning

yes, i nearly burnt my own house down this morning. I bought 2 delicious chicken pies back from office yesterday and meant it to be our breakfast this morning. Pretty happy with my buys, I heat it up in the toaster oven and guess it's too hot and long, the toaster begin to gave out smoke. (bear in mind that it's less than 5mins) I quickly open the toaster door and switch off the power. Guess what happen next. The chicken pies caught fire and in less than a span of few seconds, the toaster was on fire. I screamed for help from hubby who was in the bedroom. He rushed out and splashed water on the toaster and there goes our breakfast. I was in a shock and didn't know how to react. Now because of this, my toaster oven is black (original color is white), ok la, not black black but the sides was black becoz of the smoke and the inside is black as well due to the fire. The glass panel is also suffering from some de-colourisation. Hope we can wash it clean (if possible). And guess what else... i realised that the heat from the oven melted a small tiny part of our microwave too. HAIZ! I think I better not buy chicken pie or something that requires toasting in the morning for breakfast anymore, else I really burn down the house.
