Random thoughts and updates

Today was spent traveling around the north area. Morning, went brunch at Northpoint and after which went to mom's place to pick up some warm clothings for the upcoming trip. Bought durian on the way and had a good time licking my fingers. :) Weather was kind of warm and windy but as I said, warm so sun was shining bright as well. Mom was feeling bored and as her daughter, I felt it even when she didn't even mention it. We went AMK hub around 3pm to walk around and to buy some snacks and noodles for the trip as well. Oh well, dun ask. Guess me and my bro-in-law are afraid that we may starve in the cold cold nights in London. Haha. Sis nearly fainted when she saw what I bought. After AMK, we brought mom to upper thomson to eat Peranakan food. Not too good, I will say or rather it will not be choice for us to go back again anytime soon. Of course, the plan wasn't to eat there but at the hawker center to eat the famous western food. But disappointed as we were, the stall was closed till 20th as the owners went on holidays. Haiz... so we ended up at the peranakan place.

Dear is going for ICT real soon and that's on coming tues. I will be left alone for 1 whole week before I fly off to London and Paris. Not exactly looking forward to the trip coz dear dear will not be there with me to enjoy the place and all. Having mixed feelings as well, coz I will be traveling with my sis and bro in law. I wonder what unexpected things will come my way. On a brighter note. Just received a call from dad 20mins ago. He is blessing me $1000 for the trip!!! Oh man!!! Praise God for daddys! LOL! Sometimes it got me thinking if I am being doted on more by dad or just becoz I am leading a more "blessed" life than my other 2 siblings. But I know dad is fair to everyone of us... since dad is blessing me with the money, I will not need to take money from dear dear. At least we can pay our insurance premiums now without thinking if we have exceeded our budget. :) Haven't mention the blessing to dear yet, he will be pretty happy when he heard it.

What should I do to keep myself busy while dear is away for ICT??? Now I have plenty of time so maybe it's a good time to catch up with my friends too. Haiz... seems like life's pretty not the same after marriage. So dear friends, date me out ok. Know I haven't been a good friend but please forgive me. :( Alright, gonna sleep now, tml we are meeting HY & SY for porridge buffet lunch @ Suntec. Have a good Vesak Day everyone!
