Hopelessly "Healthy"

Received an article sent by a colleague about trans fat. Ignorant as I am, I asked her what is trans fat and she sent me a few websites that contain information on it. It is a kind of fats that causes veins blockage. The most amazing thing is, this fat is present in almost all kinds of food that we take everyday. You may think that margarine is healthy subsititute to butter but well, in fact margarine contains this trans fat which is "harmful" to us in the long run. The list just goes on and on about food containing trans fat. I shall not go more into it because the more I think of it, I feel depressed. If you want to know more, can go to the health promotion board website to read more about it then.

I wonder what is consider healthy in this world...

On the other hand, after the conversation with this colleague, I wonder if it's wise to think so much about the type of ingredients that is presence in food before we consume. If everytime you have to eat something, you have to be so conscious about the type of raw ingredients that are used then might as well dun eat right? It's good to be conscious of what you eat but not to the extreme I guess.
